Stay up-to-date on everything happening: Join the BAM Facebook Group. Registration Link: https://forms.gle/DhpmLTsrBU8UBKF36 Join Meridy Capella from Evergreen Alterations to discuss Sewing Machine Troubleshooting and Q&A. With so many people rallying to the cause of mask making in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve been hearing the groans of bunched thread on a bobbin and seams that just don’t seem right. Meridy will cover threading, tension, bobbin Issues and other topics. We will focus on two popular face mask patterns: We will also be joined by Amy Anselmo of the Green Mountain Mask Makers who will help you get connected to this wonderful grassroots effort to make masks and get them in the hands of those who need them. The Bennington Area Makerspace provides opportunities for connection to the entire community via intellectually and physically creative activities. We are building an accessible, open, and safe space for the community to explore science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) skills and support entrepreneurship by making things and making connections. The guiding principle of BAM is to enable transdisciplinary collaboration and intergenerational exchange to feed curiosity, support discovery, and encourage entrepreneurial development in the Bennington area.
